Founder, The Skilllzup
I’m Swanandi Shimpi, a 16-year-old student and youth changemaker.
I’m passionate about exploring digital skills, building creative projects, and volunteering for social impact. Outside academics, I enjoy playing table tennis, writing, and connecting with people to share ideas and learn from different perspectives.
Driven by curiosity and creativity, I love turning small initiatives into something meaningful — and believe that real learning happens when we step beyond our comfort zone.
🌟My Story
The world is changing fast — but our classrooms often aren’t.
As a student, I saw this gap every day: we were preparing for exams but not for life. Skills like communication, leadership, creative thinking — and especially digital skills that today’s world demands — were rarely taught. And students from underserved backgrounds felt this gap even more deeply.
At 15, I decided to stop waiting and start building. That’s how The SkilllzUp began: a student-led platform to help young people learn real-world and digital skills, share them, and create opportunities for themselves and others.
Instead of temporary help, we chose empowerment that lasts: free, beginner-friendly courses, hands-on workshops, and a growing community where students teach, learn, and lead together.
In just one year, The SkilllzUp has reached over 1,000 learners — and we’re just getting started. Our mission is simple but bold: to reach every student who has the greed to learn and the courage to grow.
Because talent is everywhere, but opportunity often isn’t. And we’re here to change that — one skill, one student, one step at a time.
